Eddy Van Hemelrijck has a Master’s in Applied Economics and a PhD in Earth Sciences from Utrecht University, where he analysed the intercultural communication of sustainable business in multinationals. Since 2003, he has been host professor at the Karel de Grote Business School in Antwerp, lecturing on sustainable business, personal development & management skills, and intercultural management. In 2019, he co-founded ‘Rethinking Economics Antwerp’.

Jordi Lesaffer is an independent ESG consultant, with more than 20 years’ experience in ESG analysis, controversy risk, and sustainable finance. Passionate about business ethics from the start of his career at Stock at Stake (an Ethibel spin-off), he went on to lead product development and international teams at Moody’s ESG Solutions and Vigeo Eiris. Jordi advises companies and investors on ESG risks, regulations, and impact strategies.

With over 15 years of experience in sustainable finance, Ophelie Mortier is the Chief Sustainable Investment Officer at DPAM. She leads the development and implementation of sustainable investment strategies that align with regulatory requirements and ESG principles. Passionate about the positive impact of responsible investments, she works to drive sustainability and transparency in the financial sector, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver long-term, positive outcomes.

Trijntje has over 30 years of experience in Sustainability, Communications, External Engagement and Issues Management. She currently serves as a Senior Associate at the Media Innovation Studio at the University of Lancashire (UK). Prior to this, she was the IKEA Foundation’s Chief Communications Officer and held several leadership positions within Unilever. Trijntje is also a lecturer at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication in Rotterdam.
